Alleppey Houseboat | Thekkady

Cochin to Thekkady will take 5 to 6hrs and start accordingly from Cochin. On the way visit few small water falls, enjoy scenic beauty en-route and visit Kalvari Mount. You will reach Thekkady by evening and enjoy optional activities like Kathakali, Martial arts, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, Ayurveda Massage depends on your interest. Suggest to keep Periyar boating for next day morning 7. 30. During boating you can see Periyar wildlife sanctuary. All activities has separate entrance fees.

Thekkady to Alleppey would take 4 hrs hence suggest to start by 8am to reach Houseboat by 12 – 1PM. Houseboat will be stopped for lunch for 1hrs with cruise till 5,30 pm. Boat will be anchored till next day morning with 1hour cruise in the morning for check out at 9am. There are different categories of houseboat available like Deluxe, Premium and Luxury, Deluxe is the basic boat. In the houseboat you will be greeted with welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner and breakfast.

Visit Alleppey beach and drive to Cochin for sightseeing. Depends on time availability and holiday we will choose from sightseeing options at Cochin which are Fort cochin, Navy museum, St Francis church, Chinese fishing net, Santa clause basilica, Mattanchery palace, Jewish synagogue, Marian drive, Tripunitura hill palace and Lulu mall. Timings and holiday at Cochin: Hill palace opens from 9AM to 4PM with holiday on Monday. Dutch palace holiday on Friday. Synagogue opens from 10am to 12noon and 3 to 5PM with holiday on Friday and Saturday and Jewish holidays. Depends on departure time, our representative will be dropping you at respective station or airport at Cochin.
